Celine Marie Claudette Dion was born on March 30 in Charlemagne, a small town 35 miles north of Montreal. Her name was inspired by the song “Dis-moi Celine” (Hugues Aufrey) that her mother was listening to a lot when she was pregnant. All her 13 brothers and sisters are musically talented. They used to travel around the province of Quebec singing at parties and weddings. That was Celine’s first contact with music. TOP
